Driving Facing the Sun

It's not that sun glasses is the only way to reduce sunlight while driving, but; it is probably the most popular way that drivers think is the better option. In the absense of sunglasses, you can see the color of signal lights if you put forth a small procedure that involves the use of your sun visor and your undivided attention while waiting on a light to change.

In that the top light is red, you can adjust your seating as well as the sunvisor to allow you to see only the bottom light. While waiting at the light you would not see the red light. Once the bottom light comes on, and it would be the green one, you can go! It's basic, but it's  one of a few practical ways to see while driving while the sun is rising or setting.

With this in mind, you should remember that the reflection that comes from windows on tall skyscrapers will also cause a problem in seeing traffic lights. Additionally, try to avoid riding behind tall vehicles as you proceed from light to light.
